Hard Disc Recovery – Hard Disk Recovery Guide!

Hard Disc Recovery – How to Recover Corrupted Hard Disk in Minutes!

ex Hard Disc Recovery Hard Disk Recovery Guide!

If you have to learn hard disc recovery then you simply cannot afford to leave this site
without finding out how you can recover corrupted hard disc in minutes. Hard disc recovery is try to recover hard disc failure when we can not read data from the hard disc. Hard disc failure can due to human operational errors, virus attacks or data loss caused by hard disk partition, the use  of special software. Technically hard disc recovery means to extract data from the corrupted hard disk.

Hard disc failure can be due to:

-          Logical failure or software errors

-          Physical or hardware failure

-          Human errors

-          Virus attacks

Hard Disc Recovery From DOS

In the DOS era we all know that there is a very useful tool – UnFormat, where it can be restored the data done by the command make by the Format command to clear the disc.

If the user is using the Format command in DOS, and mistakenly formatted a partition, you can use UnFormat command in DOS get your data back..But UnFormat command only able to restore the local hard disk and software drivers, and cannot restore back the network drive. Besides that, UnFormat command in DOS also can repair and re-build damaged hard drive partition table.

However, it seems to be out of date if we still keep on using this UnFormat Command in DOS, especially in restoring formatted partition, we can use some data recovery software to recovery,  such as Easyrecovery 6.0 and Finaldata2.0 other data recovery software to restore back the data can in hard disc. DOS also provides a miror command used to record the current information for formating or recover back the delete data.

Hard Disc Recovery -Track 0 Damage

Hard disk master boot record area (MBR) is located on the zero track. MBR is located in the hard disk cylinder 0 track 0 sector 1, which kept the hard disk master boot program and partition table. In total 512 bytes of hard disk master boot record sector, the 446-byte belongs to hard disk master boot program, while 64 bytes belong to the hard disk partition table (DPT), and two bytes (55 AA) is the end of sign area.

Damaged zero track will severely damage the hard disk master boot program and partition table  information and causes the hard disk cannot reboot. But how to judge damaged of track 0? First, the system will still pass it self-test, but the in startup process partition C drive directory is lost or missing, and hard disk regularly has sounds “creak … creak …”; while running SCANDISK command in scanning C disk, it will appears in the first cluster a red “B”, or using the Fdisk cannot find the hard disk, and DM will stuck in the 0 track. The above situations will provide a good signal of zero track damage!

Damage on track will cause hard disk bad sectors, as hard disk master boot record area (MBR) is located on the zero track, then once it is damaged, it will cause hard disc failure and data lose. However if the Track 0 is damaged, according to the current approach, there is impossible to make a complete data recovery. If it is true to be track 0 hard drive damaged, we can PCTOOLS of DE disk editor (or DiskMan) to track deflection to 0 of a sector to another one, and use of one track to supplement track 0. We can use Easyrecovery to recover back the data, but this will not guarantee all the data can completely recovery back.

Hard Disc Recovery From Deleted Partition

The most common data loss is accidentally deleted the wanted data. So the most common hard disc recovery is to recover data loss from accidentally deleted wanted data. However it is always important to remember that, do not add any new information to newly deleted partition or disk, as it is most likely to restore the data back from newly deleted file.

When we use fdisk delete the partition in hard disc, the superficial is the hard disk data has completely disappeared, it will display “entering an invalid drive” before we formatting the hard disk. However, the fact is that fdisk command is that fdisk command only rewrite the master boot sector (sector 1 0 0 plane) of the content. Technically fdisk only deleted the partition table information, and any partition hard drive data have still not changed. As the deleting and formatting did not bring any changes to the file, therefore it is possible to recover back the file. So we can use some undelete software (it works through the partition table to recover back the control file), we can easily recover back the file we wanted.

If the Windows system still can be used properly, then the simplest recovery method is to use Windows version of EasyRecovery software. This data recovery software is so powerful that not only to restore the documents back from the Recycle Bin, but also to recover formatted FAT16, FAT32 or NTFS partition files. This EasyRecovery software is simple to use, unzip it and installed, and run EasyRecovery. In the main interface, you will see 4 functions buttons, and two software support button on the left. The software can help us to diagnose potential hardware failure, monitor the running process and produce a report on potential drive failure. In the report there have details of drive space to use, IDE hard drive jumper settings, and analysis of file structure and create bootable diagnostic disk.

Besides that, six function buttons do provide options for data recovery capabilities, which is important for hard disc recovery process. Furthermore EasyRecovery Professional version provides a wider range of hard disc recovery options, which include: using advanced tapping Options defined data recovery, advanced recover deleted file function..
